Package: adequate Version: 0.15.1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
Thank you for maintaining adequate for so long. It makes it easier to know of potential issues before they become an issue :) Anyways I don't know/haven't looked up as to what criteria does adequate use to tell if a file is obsolete or not. For e.g. see - [$] adequate libgssapi-krb5-2 libgssapi-krb5-2:amd64: obsolete-conffile /etc/gss/mech.d/README Whereas when you go to /etc/gss/mech.d/README you see this - obsolete-conffile: No such file or directory 1 Any file places in this directory ending in .conf will be read as a 2 GSS-API mechanism configuration file, and the mechanisms described in 3 that file will be dynamically loaded. 4 Don't see any typical examples of conffiles as seen by me but more like note/s. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (600, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'testing-debug'), (1, 'experimental-debug'), (1, 'experimental'), (1, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.12.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages adequate depends on: ii debconf 1.5.63 ii perl 5.26.0-5 Versions of packages adequate recommends: ii pkg-config 0.29-4+b1 adequate suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/20adequate changed: // If you set this to "true", adequate will run on every install, reporting the // results via debconf.
