Problem is that the init-script is using /usr/sbin/pure-ftpd-wrapper
for the startup.

This wrappers ignores the file /etc/pure-ftpd/pure-ftpd.conf.

So a removal of /etc/pure-ftpd/pure-ftpd.conf will help to avoid the
mess of confusion.
