Unfortunately we cannot distribute these two with Debian. Their source code is derived from the Quake II mod SDK, not from the GPL source release of Quake II, and carries restrictions that are certainly unsuitable for main/contrib and potentially also unsuitable for non-free (it is not obvious whether the "LIMITED PROGRAM SOURCE CODE LICENSE" is OK for non-free). However, if you build the quake2-groundzero-data and quake2-reckoning-data packages using game-data-packager, then game-data-packager will automatically download and compile the game.so from (releases of) the same git repositories you mentioned. > https://github.com/yquake2/ctf This one is (claimed to be) GPL-2+, so maybe we can include it in yquake2. Please confirm that it works correctly? S
