Package: fbi
Version: 2.10-2+b3

As I understand it, the only reason fbi Depends: on ghostscript
is to allow for viewing PDF (and PostScript) files ($ fbgs?),
and the lack of ghostscript does not affect users interested in
any of the other supported formats (PNG, JPEG, etc.) in any way.

I’ve been able to successfully and to no apparent ill effects
circumvent this dependency by installing first an otherwise
empty package that Provides: ghostscript, saving about 30 MiB of
filesystem space (in a somewhat tight already environment) as
        the result.

Please thus downgrade the fbi dependency on ghostscript to
        Recommends:.

(If needed, and if it’s not the case already, I may try to come
up with a patch so that invoking $ fbgs without ghostscript
available will result in an error message suggesting that the
user should install the ghostscript package to use fbgs.)
