Bug#872302: vim sends cursor-blink sequence to terminal

Just to add my "me too!" here. Took me a while to pinpoint this to vim
and it's really annoying.

Is there a workaround to disable the blinking? Setting guicursor/gcr
does nothing in a terminal.
