>From this situation, first mark texlive-htmlxml for downgrade to stable,
then enter resolver, and refuse all choices from first 2 screens to get
to the third one, which proposes to remove 17 packages and downgrade 12
to stable. The goal is to downgrade to stable rather than removing.
sequence 1:
* refuse all removal choices but texlive-plain-generic which did not
exist in stable
* next state proposes only the removal of that new package, and
downgrade of all others - cool this is what I wanted
Note we can also do things incrementally by marking one package at a
time for removal: this all work until I get to refuse removal of
texlive-plain-generic (obviously, first time you get here it was not
obvious you could not refuse it)
sequence 2:
* refuse just texlive-plain-generic: you get the "no more solutions"
dialog, so revert this choice (either with undo or hitting "r" again)
* now refuse any other, that are known to be refusable one by one:
the "Next" choice is greyed out in the bottom-line command summary,
and "." just does nothing. Have to kill aptitude to try again.
