Hi folks,

here is another trick:

1. Just install linux-image-4.9.0-0-*** from backports.

2. Then boot with it, and libreoffice will start.

3. Now reboot and start with the actual kernel i.e. 4.11-******

4. Do NOT delete ~/.config/libreoffice!!!

5. Voila, libreoffice is starting again with the latest kernel.

6. Hint: backup ~/.config/libreoffice

Happy hacking!

Best

Hans
