please note that than also the DDPO will stop working. This is our
major information source to determine if someone is MIA -- before
sending the fist mail.
With only teams in the Maintainer field and no other source of
information to get that information easily, the MIA team will go
defunct or it will make the work by magnitues harder.

And as the fallacy is keeping showing up repeatily in other answers:
The perl team is extraoridnary. They are very well organized and there
it works. But the mayority of teams is not the perl team.
