Package: scrollkeeper Version: 0.3.14-10 Severity: normal
This bug report comes from another one related to Yelp: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=345563 It seems that Scrollkeeper crashes when the LANGUAGE environment variable is set to a compound value, e.g.: LANGUAGE=es_ES:es:en_GB:en See also reference thread (from Ubuntu): https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/yelp/+bug/18434 In the particular case of Yelp - which uses Scrollkeeper - this seems to force the rendering of a blank "Help topics" page, when running "Help" menu item in Gnome "Desktop" menu. Yelp works well if run from the console with the following command: LANGUAGE=es_ES yelp Please investigate this problem as it may make unusable other Debian packages. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-686 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages scrollkeeper depends on: ii docbook-xml 4.4-4 standard XML documentation system, ii libc6 2.3.5-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libscrollkeeper0 0.3.14-10 Library to load .omf files (runtim ii libxml2 2.6.23.dfsg.1-0.1 GNOME XML library ii libxslt1.1 1.1.15-2 XSLT processing library - runtime ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-9 compression library - runtime scrollkeeper recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
