Package: vdr-plugin-epgsearch Version: 1.0.1~beta6+git20150211-4.1 Severity: wishlist
Dear Maintainer, Please enable pcre-library in the build to get Pearl compatible regexes. Default compile options in epgsearch only enable POSIX Extended Regular Expressions which in my opinion lack features that users are expecting. Epgsearch supports pcre out of the box but this needs to be enabled at compile time. From INSTALL document: "For support of Perl compatible regular expressions in a search you have to use libpcre: simply edit the plugins Makefile and uncomment '#REGEXLIB = pcre' to 'REGEXLIB = pcre' or append 'REGEXLIB=pcre' to your 'make plugins' call. (you will need pcreposix installed, comes with libpcre from www.pcre.org, but it's already part of most distributions)" This would add dependency to libpcre. (Package if have installed at the moment is locally compiled with pcre so system information shows this dependecy already) -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (1001, 'stable'), (510, 'testing'), (509, 'unstable'), (505, 'experimental'), (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fi_FI.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=fi_FI.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages vdr-plugin-epgsearch depends on: ii libc6 2.24-11+deb9u1 ii libgcc1 1:6.3.0-18 ii libpcre3 2:8.39-3 ii libstdc++6 6.3.0-18 ii sendemail 1.56-5 ii vdr [vdr-abi-2.2.0-debian] 2.2.0-6+b1 vdr-plugin-epgsearch recommends no packages. vdr-plugin-epgsearch suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/vdr/plugins/epgsearch/epgsearchmenu.conf changed [not included] -- no debconf information
