This is not an issue with GNOME Software, but something you can rise with the respective projects directly. For example, you can ask the "Pingus" developers to add a <screenshots/> tag to their metainfo file, and as soon as they do the screenshots will show up in the software center. There is nothing we can do about this in GS itself, which is why I am closing the bug here, but there is a lot individual projects can do to improve the situation. So, when you notice a missing screenshot where you think one was really valuable, please file a bug about this at the upstream project (or the respective Debian package for the application).
