Thanks for all your efforts, and it seems there's nothing I can do right now, so just adding some information. As for the stacktrace: I have corekeeper installed on my laptop, so when perl segfaulted in cowbuilder, I got a coredump in /var/crash/1234/ and ran `gbp /usr/bin/perl /var/crash/1234/...' > I also tried it and I also get a segmentation fault when I built with > pbuilder, but not when just using debuild. Yeah, that's surprising that I only got it in cowbuilder but not (via autopkgtest) in schroot. > I also don't get the segfault > when I run the test suite directly from the shell -- but in the latter > cases, I am asked to press RETURN after each test. So, some code in > test.pl seems to disable this under some conditions; however my limited > knowledge of perl doesn't help here. My guess is more that cowbuilder redirects stdin, or something. Please ping me when the giza bug is fixed and a new version is available in the archive, I'm happy to continue trying then.
