Hi. The package once contained the conffiles: /etc/modprobe.d/open-vm-tools.conf /etc/xdg/autostart/vmware-user.desktop but apparently no longer does. These files have however not been cleaned up properly and dpkg still things they're conffiles (and the files are still there). Please clean them up properly in once on the next uploads using the dpkg-maintscript-helper. Thanks, Chris.
