Package: xdg-utils
Version: 1.1.1-1
Severity: important

Dear maintainer,

currently it is impossible to use xdg-desktop-menu in Debian packaging because
although most of the xdg-* scripts honor the XDG_DATA_DIRS variable,
xdg-desktop-menu hard-codes
        gnome_global_dir="/usr/share/gnome/apps"
without any way to override or move to a staging area.

This is not goood ;-)

All the best

Norbert
