I was able to fix the problem by installing gvfs. This means the missing dependency is either gvfs itself, or one of the following packages that was pulled in indirectly: $ sudo apt install gvfs Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done The following additional packages will be installed: gvfs-common gvfs-daemons gvfs-libs libatasmart4 libudisks2-0 parted udisks2 -- GPG Fingerprint: ED31 791B 2C5C 1613 AF38 8B8A D113 FCAC 3C4E 599F »Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a Banana.«
