Sorry, posted too quickly.

Thanks but no need for your help backporting the bugfix: As you 
correctly guessed, the version now in Sid will automatically replace the 
one in Buster.  Only if someone filed a bugreport against the version in 
Sid would autoamtic transition not kick in, but in this case my added 
hinting should help keep the transition going ;-)
