I have recently upgraded my Debian system from Jessie to Stretch. After the upgrade I tried to install a stable version of GC 3.4 from the official web page, as I used it on Debian Jessie as it was very stable for me. Unfortunately I noticed that package provided here https://github.com/GoldenCheetah/GoldenCheetah/releases/download/V3.4/GoldenCheetah_V3.4_Qt5.5.1_amd64.deb no longer works on Debian 9 due to missing dependencies. My only option on Debian 9 was to use the version of GC provided in the OS. However that version doesn't work very well for me as it hangs a few minutes after starting the workout. The GUI freezes completely, but I noticed if I disconnect the Garmin ANT USB from the laptop, the GUI works again, but doesn't change the trainer resistance or display sensor data anymore:(. Please can the stable version of the package (3.4) be present in Debian repositories?
