package: gdk-pixbuf version: recent, but unknown, statically linked in: gnomine and mahjongg, both part of gnome-games 2.10.2-2 system: debian etch amd64 kernel: 2.6.15-4
I report this error here because it seems to origin from the pixbuf routines: when starting gnomine OR when loading the postmodern.svg tileset in mahjongg, both started from a console window, the following error is printed in the console window: (gnomine:11980): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_loader_write: assertion `buf != NULL' failed OR (mahjongg:11978): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_loader_write: assertion `buf != NULL' failed both errors seem to be thrown when loading svg graphics: using a png tileset works in mahjongg, gnomine aborts after the error. searching google I also found reports of a similar error in gnumeric: (gnumeric:20954): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: \ file gdk-pixbuf-loader.c: line 424 \ (gdk_pixbuf_loader_write): assertion `buf != NULL' failed - this dating back to 2003 I think the error is in the pixbuf routines. Inkscape opens all svg graphics without error. Heinz -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
