Hi Josch, Thank you for adding --bd-uninstallable-explainer to sbuild. It helps a lot. Maybe we can still improve it though. In general, apt refuses to cross grade essential packages (with good reason), but dose still considers such solutions. On bootstrap.debian.net we filter the foreign packages file removing essential packages before passing it to dose. Can we do that for sbuild as well? Helmut
