It will most likely work.  From what I gather, both kernels support only
the Open Sound System, but the oss-libsalsa package implements ALSA's
userspace API on top of it.  It hasn't kept up with the latest ALSA
features, but basic functionality should still work, as should
higher-level libraries like libpulse.
