No. But it does change something: The former warnings (gimp:4435): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "adwaita", and ** (gimp:4435): WARNING **: Invalid borders specified for theme pixmap: /usr/share/themes/Breeze/gtk-2.0/../assets/line-h.png, borders don't fit within the image disappeared when I start gimp. Menu bar is still invisible. But when I click to the (invisible) menu bar (e.g. "File" entry), the following warning appears in the terminal from wich I started gimp: ** (gimp:5855): WARNING **: Invalid borders specified for theme pixmap: /usr/share/themes/Breeze/gtk-2.0/../assets/line-h.png, borders don't fit within the image Another piece of information: It works if I start gimp from plasma (i.e. KDE), but I normally work using gnome mate.
