Package: veusz-helpers Version: 1.21.1-1+b1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable (veusz becomes uninstallable)
The recent binNMU of veusz-helpers for sip-api-11.3 somehow made it duplicate the /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/veusz/resources symlink from the main veusz package. Even though the symlinks are identical, dpkg tolerates this situation only with --force-overwrite: Unpacking veusz-helpers (1.21.1-1+b1) over (1.21.1-1) ... dpkg: error processing archive /tmp/user/0/apt-dpkg-install-y5VKrI/28-veusz-helpers_1.21.1-1+b1_amd64.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/veusz/resources', which is also in package veusz 1.21.1-1 [...] $ sudo dpkg -i --force-overwrite /var/cache/apt/archives/veusz-helpers_1.21.1-1+b1_amd64.deb (Reading database ... 2474063 files and directories currently installed.) Could you please take a look, and ensure that the symlink once again winds up in only one binary pacakges?
