Package: xserver-xorg-input-wacom Version: 0.34.0-1 Severity: normal
I'm using a wacom bamboo tablet, and noticed that starting with xserver-xorg-input-wacom 0.34.0-1 the pressure reported by the stylus in Qt4 programs wraps around at 0.5 (going back to -0.5 instead), thus never reaching 1. This looks like a botched signed integer conversion to float. Downgrading to 0.33.0-1+b1 fixes the issue (the pressure range reported by the stylus is in the 0-1 range as it should), which makes me think the issue is either an ABI breakage or some issue in the driver itself. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (900, 'unstable'), (800, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.11.0-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages xserver-xorg-input-wacom depends on: ii libc6 2.24-10 ii libudev1 233-6 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.4-3 ii libxext6 2:1.3.3-1+b2 ii libxi6 2:1.7.9-1 ii libxinerama1 2:1.1.3-1+b3 ii libxrandr2 2:1.5.1-1 ii xserver-xorg-core [xorg-input-abi-24] 2:1.19.3-1 xserver-xorg-input-wacom recommends no packages.
