The upstream bug at http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1425705&group_id=5095&atid=305095 means that a meta-server which does not have the server-console installed (such as the public meta-server at pioneers.debian.net) can be made to crash by connecting to it with an old client (gnocatan from sarge) and requesting the creation of a new game. This bug has been fixed upstream, and the release containing the fix will soon be uploaded. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages pioneers-meta-server depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-12 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libglib2.0-0 2.8.6-1 The GLib library of C routines Versions of packages pioneers-meta-server recommends: ii pioneers-server-console 0.9.49-1 computer version of the settlers o -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
