Hi, back in 2015, some patches I've contributed upstream were released: http://cpansearch.perl.org/src/SACAVILIA/Desktop-Notify-0.05/Changes I'd like to see them in Debian eventually, so that we can stop modifying this package in Tails. I notice that there's no debian/watch file in the packaging to monitor new upstream releases, which might explain why you missed them?
