Package: flashplugin-nonfree Version: 1:3.7 As of webkit2gtk 2.14.6-1, currently in Debian stretch and backported to stable-backports, webkit2gtk no longer recommends the gtk2 version of itself.
https://tracker.debian.org/media/packages/w/webkit2gtk/changelog-2.14.6-1 epiphany-browser and other gtk3 webkit2 browsers need that gtk2 library installed to be able to use Flash. I think it makes more sense for Flash to depend on this (or recommend it) than for epiphany to do so since Epiphany otherwise works just fine without the gtk2 library. So please have flashplugin-nonfree depend on or recommend libwebkit2gtk-4.0-37-gtk2 Thanks, Jeremy Bicha
