They are not blocked at all. Well, I do, and I reported it to track the fact that I could not build the package on amd64, which is what everybody does: Report bugs to keep track of things that should not happen. If you don't want to track this personally, it's fine, but that's not an excuse to deprive others from doing so. Also, it seems as closing the bug was your way of making the bug not to be RC.
