Overall this dropped about 2k LOC and I fixed several issues that source checkers reported along the way. While one could argue that it is still a lot of code left with ~500 lines for what it does I didn't want to rewrite everything. We could look into that if needed, but I decided not to do so without a reason. I executed the test as-is in debian-sid container and ran the same as KVM based autopkgtest in a zesty image - both seemed still to work fine without external connection for the tests. Also I got an ack for re-licensing by the Authors and added (hopefully now correct GPLv2+) headers to the two files that remain. That said here a much smaller v2 of a debdiff to review. >From here I hope we can more easily sort out any remaining issues. @Marc / Jamie - if you could ack publicly to the re-licensing here that would be great. -- Christian Ehrhardt Software Engineer, Ubuntu Server Canonical Ltd
