Package: usbmount Version: 0.0.14 Severity: wishlist This bug is related to #337483. However, there is no immediate solution to that bug's problem.
Meanwhile, please document the fact that using the "sync" option makes writing to flash devices much slower with vfat! For quite a while, I actually thought that my USB stick was broken... in my case (USB 2.0 stick), I get 30kB/sec with the "sync" option, and 7MB/sec without it! Consider adding notes both to /usr/share/doc/usbmount/README and /etc/usbmount/usbmount.conf Many thanks!
