it seems that this bug has been fixed in the latest version of the Kernel package. Out of curiosity, we would really like to know when and where an appropriate fix was included - we tried finding something in https://tracker.debian.org/media/packages/l/linux/changelog-4.9.18-1~bpo8+1 but could not find any hint.
