It’s used by the documentation: the HTML files use jQuery for some of their
functionality.

That is at it’s supposed to be, packages.debian.org reflects the packages’
metadata.

Given the size of the documentation, I’ll split the package up into -dev and
-doc packages, which will fix the issue (but only in the next release of
Debian).
