Hello Aaron, I'm aware Vis is not compiling on Hurd. I'm willing to try to fix it and to send a patch upstream, I think it will be merged. It would help me a lot to have access to the Hurd build server, so I could test the build and once it's fixed ask the package sponsor for a new upload. I could install a Debian GNU/Hurd system myself, but I'd like to learn more about the Debian infrastructure, as I'm willing to keep contributing, and this is a good excuse. Do you think you could sponsor a guest account request, as described here: https://dsa.debian.org/doc/guest-account/ ? As an alternative I could apply to become a New Member, without applying for the DM status (the two packages I'm maintaining probably do not justify it). What do you think? 73 de Paride IZ3SUS
