Package: rig Version: 1.11-1 Severity: wishlist At the moment, rig is only able to generate fake identities in the USA. This is less useful when you need a Norwegian fake identity. It would be great if rig could generate identities in more than one country. Such feature would have to handle different address formats. For example, in Norway the post code is placed before the city (and not after like in USA), and there is no state code. I can provide name lists and post codes locations if anyone add support for Norway.
I asked upstream if he had any plans for such feature, and he said he would be happy to accept such patches but did not plan to work on it himself. I suspect a new option '-C countrycode' could be the way to go, and teach rig to look in /usr/share/rig/<countrycode>/ for data when it is used. If it also read the formatting from a file in the directory, it could adjust the output format per country. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
