Package: dosbox Followup-For: Bug #857341 I'm seeing this as well since dosbox was upgraded from 0.74-4+b1 to 0.74-4.2+b2. Downgrading the package via snapshot.debian.org to 0.74-4+b1 was a viable workaround for me, and enabled me to use the dynamic/auto core again.
Greets, Samuel Infos about the workaround: to downgrade, include the following line in your /etc/apt/sources.list: deb [check-valid-until=no] http://snapshot.debian.org/archive/debian/20151007T154528Z/ testing main and then run apt-get update apt-get install dosbox=0.74-4+b1 -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/3 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages dosbox depends on: ii libasound2 1.1.3-5 ii libc6 2.24-9 ii libgcc1 1:6.3.0-12 ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1] 13.0.6-1 ii libpng12-0 1.2.54-6 ii libsdl-net1.2 1.2.8-4 ii libsdl-sound1.2 1.0.3-7+b3 ii libsdl1.2debian 1.2.15+dfsg1-4 ii libstdc++6 6.3.0-12 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.4-3 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-5 dosbox recommends no packages. dosbox suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
