Dear Maintainer,don't know if related, but timely it would fit.With this Samba version 4.5.8+dfsg-1_amd64 updated on 5th of April under stretch simple symlinks (within the same share) are not followed any more. Although 'follow symlinks = Yes' is default. Explicitly enabling does not help. A quick and dirty workaround is setting 'wide links = Yes' and 'allow insecure wide links = Yes' (or instead of the latter disabling unix extensions).Chris
