When opening emacs from the GNOME Activities Overview by typing "emacs", the two icons corresponding to both "GNU Emacs 24 (Terminal)" and "GNU Emacs 24 (GUI)" appear as identical. This happens because their labels are longer than what GNOME displays. The user has to use trial and error to open the version of emacs that she wants and that's frustrating.
