Do you know for sure that dleyna-server is what *caused* the blank screen,
or could it just be something that happened at the same time?
dleyna-server does not appear to have any interaction with graphics,
so it would be surprising for it to have that effect.

If you remove the dleyna-server package, reboot, and do the same things,
does the symptom you report (black screen) go away, or does it persist?

This bug report is currently in danger of causing dleyna-server to be
removed from the next Debian release entirely, which seems like an
overreaction, unless it made your system completely unusable.

Your primary screen becoming unusable is certainly a bug, but not a
critical one if the secondary screen is still available.

This is sufficiently recent hardware that you might have better success
with Debian stretch (testing), or with a kernel from jessie-backports.
