Wow, XML does not allow comments including the string "--"? Pardon me for saying so, but that seems even more stupid than usual. Not that it's your doing :). I changed it. I am not sure what to make of the other warnings. section.level4 and the rest all seem to be defined to me? Unless it's the comment that's causing the problem. Or a problem in xmllint.
