I can confirm that the binary for 0.48.2 has O and A entries.

Now that I've looked at the source package, and seen that the source files
are named cide.o etc., I think we can guess that what's happened is that
some software has decided that *.o and *.a files can and should be
discarded (thinking that they're object files).  The most reliable fix
probably involves a rename (say cide-o or cide-o.xml), as there's plenty of
other software around that would make the same guess even if you avoid it
happening again with the particular software that discarded them this time.
