Control: severity -1 serious

Hi!
Do yoy have any news about this issue?

After more than two years the error message is slightly different:

The following NEW packages will be installed:
 collectd collectd-core
0 upgraded, 2 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.
Need to get 0 B/1106 kB of archives.
After this operation, 4135 kB of additional disk space will be used.
Do you want to continue? [Y/n]

 E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

but the result remains the same (uninstallable package) :(

I think that this issue violates the Debian Policy (section 6.3), therefore I
raise
the severity of this bug to "serious" accordingly.
Feel free to downgrade the bug severity as appropriate.

Thanks.
