Just to add some more context to this request:

The uploaded version depends on a later version of python-amqp that is
only available in experimental. This breaks everything that depends on
kombu (directly and indirectly).

As a result the uploaded package is only installable if you install the
python-amqp from experimental to. So it is unlikely many people have
installed it.

I considered the possibility of moving the latest version of python-amqp
from experimental to unstable, however after discussion on the
debian-python mailing list the consesus is that this is a bad idea right
now as it could break a number of packages.

My current feeling is that best way to resolve this would be to upload
the old version of kombu with an epoch in the version. However if you
have any better solutions available, I am all ears.

For example, is it possible to delete the package from the archive and
reupload the old version?
