Package: yaird Version: 0.0.12-3 Followup-For: Bug #345374
I have tried using the patch and some of the config options (adding/moving ide-generic, etc) with no luck. I get the same error as Roman Kalukiewicz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. Currently back running 2.4 kernel, DMA works here. I have added output from lsmod and hdparm below. Not sure what other information I can provide. Thanks and hope we can sort it out. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_AU, LC_CTYPE=en_AU (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages yaird depends on: ii cpio 2.6-10 GNU cpio -- a program to manage ar ii dash 0.5.3-2 The Debian Almquist Shell ii libc6 2.3.5-12.1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libhtml-template-perl 2.8-1 HTML::Template : A module for usin ii libparse-recdescent-perl 1.94.free-1 Generates recursive-descent parser ii perl 5.8.7-10 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction yaird recommends no packages. -- no debconf information *** /home/joe/projects/debian/bugs/hda20060206 Output of hdaparm -i /dev/hda: /dev/hda: Model=SAMSUNG SP2014N, FwRev=VC100-33, SerialNo=S088J1SY904192 Config={ Fixed } RawCHS=16383/16/63, TrkSize=34902, SectSize=554, ECCbytes=4 BuffType=DualPortCache, BuffSize=8192kB, MaxMultSect=16, MultSect=16 CurCHS=16383/16/63, CurSects=16514064, LBA=yes, LBAsects=268435455 IORDY=on/off, tPIO={min:240,w/IORDY:120}, tDMA={min:120,rec:120} PIO modes: pio0 pio1 pio2 pio3 pio4 DMA modes: mdma0 mdma1 mdma2 UDMA modes: udma0 udma1 udma2 udma3 udma4 *udma5 AdvancedPM=no WriteCache=enabled Drive conforms to: unknown: ATA/ATAPI-1 ATA/ATAPI-2 ATA/ATAPI-3 ATA/ATAPI-4 ATA/ATAPI-5 ATA/ATAPI-6 ATA/ATAPI-7 * signifies the current active mode *** /home/joe/projects/debian/bugs/lsmod20060206 Output of lsmod: Module Size Used by Not tainted parport_pc 23880 1 (autoclean) lp 6724 0 parport 26504 1 [parport_pc lp] ip_nat_irc 2320 0 (unused) ip_conntrack_irc 2896 1 ipt_LOG 3480 4 (autoclean) iptable_mangle 2200 0 (autoclean) (unused) iptable_filter 1772 1 (autoclean) printer 7968 0 usb-ohci 19496 0 (unused) usbcore 62892 1 [printer usb-ohci] i810_audio 24444 0 (unused) ac97_codec 13300 0 [i810_audio] soundcore 3940 2 [i810_audio] ide-scsi 10032 0 scsi_mod 95140 1 [ide-scsi] forcedeth 9324 1 ipt_MASQUERADE 1496 0 (unused) ip_conntrack_ftp 3920 1 (autoclean) ip_nat_ftp 2928 0 (unused) iptable_nat 17510 2 [ip_nat_irc ipt_MASQUERADE ip_nat_ftp] ip_conntrack 19528 2 [ip_nat_irc ip_conntrack_irc ipt_MASQUERADE ip_conntrack_ftp ip_nat_ftp iptable_nat] ip_tables 12192 7 [ipt_LOG iptable_mangle iptable_filter ipt_MASQUERADE iptable_nat] ide-cd 31328 0 cdrom 29828 0 [ide-cd] rtc 6440 0 (autoclean) ext3 81068 5 (autoclean) jbd 42468 5 (autoclean) [ext3] ide-detect 288 0 (autoclean) (unused) amd74xx 11172 1 (autoclean) unix 14960 34 (autoclean) ide-disk 16864 6 (autoclean) ide-core 108632 6 (autoclean) [ide-scsi ide-cd ide-detect amd74xx ide-disk] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
