Package: openssl Version: 1.1.0e-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I have encrypted a text file with using openssl aes-256-cbc a few months ago and, when tried do decrypt it, the output was totally garbled. When I copied the file to another computer using jessie's 1.0.1t-1+deb8u6 version, it worked as expected. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=pt_BR.utf8, LC_CTYPE=pt_BR.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages openssl depends on: ii libc6 2.24-9 ii libssl1.1 1.1.0e-1 ii perl 5.24.1-1 openssl recommends no packages.
