But since both ship recent enough versions of the relevant packages, it shouldn't fail to build there. BTW, the backport seems to be running fine for now. The only dependency I needed to backport was fltk1.3 (no changes required); all other packages can be taken as-is from Stretch. Given that tigervnc didn't make it into Jessie, an official backport would be nice. Sascha
