Package: lxdm Version: 0.5.3-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
in this machine i use graphical.target as default target, but i usually reboot or poweroff from console not from graphical system. because of console shutdowns there is a stop job problem. information is about this machine which is debian 9 rc installation and isn't modified heavily. * What led up to the situation? rebooting or shutdowning debian o.s. with using commands reboot, shutdown or poweroff from console as root. shutting down from lxdm login screen do not replicate the bug. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? commanding reboot or poweroff as root. * What was the outcome of this action? when shutting down there is a problem stopping process lxdm. following is in the screen. [ *] A stop job is running lxde display manager (0s / 1min 30s) * What outcome did you expect instead? shutting down without stop job. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages lxdm depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.60 ii gtk2-engines-pixbuf 2.24.31-2 ii iso-codes 3.74-1 ii libc6 2.24-9 ii libcairo2 1.14.8-1 ii libck-connector0 0.4.6-6 ii libdbus-1-3 1.10.16-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.36.5-2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.50.3-1 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.31-2 ii libpam-modules 1.1.8-3.5 ii libpam-runtime 1.1.8-3.5 ii libpam0g 1.1.8-3.5 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.40.4-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.40.4-1 ii librsvg2-common 2.40.16-1+b1 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.4-3 ii libxcb1 1.12-1 ii lsb-base 9.20161125 ii x11-utils 7.7+3+b1 Versions of packages lxdm recommends: pn desktop-base <none> ii lxde-common 0.99.2-3 lxdm suggests no packages. -- debconf information: * shared/default-x-display-manager: lxdm ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ however, i have another machine which have same bug but following differences, lightdm multi-user.target as default target debian unstable so this bug might be wider than just lxdm. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
