Hi, sorry for the confusing bugreport. The script, that gets executed is $HOME/perl5/perlbrew/etc/bashrc. The name of the script indicates that this is for *bash*, not *sh*.
And, additionally, the script doesn't set variables only, it defines some functions, and thus belongs to .bashrc, as the manpage indicates. So, please close the bugreport. It's not a bug.
