No problem. Maybe I should have it modify /etc/tinc/nets.boot so it has
a comment that points to systemctl enable/disable. Also, when upgrading
to 1.0.27 or later, tinc should have converted all the entries in
nets.boot to systemd service instances, and those should have been
enabled. Did you create the malteser VPN before or after
upgrading to 1.0.27 or later?
