thanks for the migration to thunderbird. however, there seems to be at least two problems with the wrapper helper script: 1. proper migration not possible i had .icedove. then i migrated, so i got .thunderbird as a symlink pointing to .icedove. after the migration when i ensured everything works, i want to get rid of .icedove and just use .thunderbird only. so i removed the symlink and renamed .icedove to .thunderbird. thunderbird then complains the migration not being done/finished and it's not possible to use thunderbird at all unless one reverts to .icedove (directory) and .thunderbird (symlink). 2. unburden home directores not possible anymore before thunderbird, my .icedove was a symlink to another partition with local storage (in order to unburden my home directory). now, with thunderbird, using .thunderbird as a symlink to pointing to anything but .icedove doesn't work anymore. would be nice if both things could get fixed.
