It's a pity that fgrun was not fixed and fell out of Stretch release. I have prepared a new release of fgrun (fgrun 2016.4.0) for Debian and switched upstream tracking to SourceForge. You may find my working Git repo on GitHub [1]. Tell me if it's okay and I may push commits onto Alioth repo later. > Do you know of an ordinary release tarball? One way is to use the giant flightgear tarball (1.5GB large) which seems to have bundled fgrun code. Not really an elegant approach. Another way is generating src tarball from Git repository. In my current working repo I merged Debian packaging history with upstream commits. Current tarball inside pristine-tar branch is simply generated by:: git checkout upstream/2016.4.0 cd .. tar --exclude-vcs -cJvf fgrun_2016.4.0.orig.tar.xz fgrun Hacky but it works.
