Package: makedumpfile
Version: 1:1.6.1-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

I am using debootstrap to create minimal Debian system and chroot to
install a bunch of additional packages (including a kernel and
kdump-tools). Then I create an tarball out of it to boot from.

The postinst script from kdump-tools creates an initramfs for the
running kernel. This is not the wanted behavoir. The running kernel
differs from the kernel installed in the chroot. Thus I have to remove
the generated kernel and generate the initramfs for the installed
kernel.
